A Large Ice Fishing Festival In Gangwon
The Ice Fishing Festival is an annual event held in Hwacheon of South Korea's Gangwon Province. During the festival housands of competitors try to catch as many sancheoneo (wild trout) as possible. The Ice Fishing Festival takes place in the Hwacheoncheon (stream) during nearly the entire month of January. The festival organizers claim there are roughly 1,000,000 visitors annually. China’s Frozen Cave that Doesn’t Melt in Summer China owns an 85-meter deep pin shaped frozen wonderland, named Ningwu cave, in the mountain range of the Shanxi province.
