Verruckt, The World's Tallest Waterslide Opens To The Publicverruckt, the world's tallest waterslide opens to the public Verrückt, the world’s tallest waterslide at schlitterbahn water park in kansas city, kansas, has officially opened. the slide, which translates to ‘insane’ in german, requires thrill-seekers to climb 264 stairs up to a platform standing at 168 feet, which measures 94 inches taller than the statue of liberty. before plummeting down at speeds of up to 65 miles-per-hour, visitors need to weigh themselves to ensure the combined weight of the two or three passengers on-board does not exceed 550 pounds.
