There are more than 700 lakes in the U.S state of Montana which is situated on the border with Canada. But the strange thing of these lakes is that only 131 lakes have names and 200 lakes that are more than five acres in size. Many lakes consist of thousands of acres. Normally lakes are not too big but there are some which are unusual. The areas where these lakes are located are usually cooler than other places and its temperature is also low. The depth of many lakes is almost 30 feet or more.
Now we are discussing the beautiful lake of the Glacier National, which is situated in the state of Montana. The name of this lake is MacDonald, having beautiful pebbles it looks stunning. The process of changing the color of stones change from dark red to maroon and from green to blue. This lake is the largest lakes of the Glacier National Park. Its area is 6,823 acres. It is longest over 15 km and deep at 141 meters. The colorful stones in this beautiful lake are the attraction for the visitors. We should also come to see this lake.
