30 meter Long Concrete Sculpture by Florentijn Hofman

The Feestaardvarken is a 30 meter long concrete sculpture which has the appearance of a 

 abstracted aardvark with a golden partyhat on. The work is site specific made and was 

 commissioned by Burgers' Zoo. The sculpture is a present from this 100th years 

 anniversary 

 celebrating zoo to the city of Arnhem.

 Hofman's other "big" project that's making headlines these days is a 30 meter long concrete sculpture of an aardvark in Arnhem, Netherlands. Rocking his gold party hat, the red colored aardvark is a site specific work created to celebrate the zoo's 100th anniversary. You can watch the making-of the massive sculpture, here. China’s Frozen Cave that Doesn’t Melt in Summer China owns an 85-meter deep pin shaped frozen wonderland, named Ningwu cave, in the mountain range of the Shanxi province. Its structure is subterranean inside the mountain that never melts even in summer. The large stalactites and the spikes of the ice extend from the ceiling to floor. However the floor and walls are completely covered with the thick layers of ice. Ningwu’s unique and excellent ability of not thawing throughout the warm seasons increases its popularity and makes it a must visit place.   This always frozen cave can be seen in the high teen list due to the uniqueness of the phenomenon.
