Shigeru Ban Shapes Abu Dhabi Art pavilion from Cardboard TubesShigeru ban was commissioned by the abu dhabi art
festival to complete a temporary and mobile pavilion, providing a cool
and sheltered space where visitors to the event have the opportunity to
meet and engage with local designers.
The project is constructed almost entirely from cardboard cylinders, with tubes of varying lengths and dimensions arranged to form an engaging and inviting semi-external volume.
