Incredible Angry Birds Sand Sculpture
Until April 27, visit the Frankston Waterfront in Victoria, Australia to see spectacular sand sculptures like this one. A team of talented international and Australian sculptors have brought to life story book characters from Penguin Books in an event titledStory Land. That's a total of 3,500 tons of sand carved into amazing works of art!

In addition to seeing sand sculptures of characters in such classic books like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlotte's Weband Where the Wild Things Are, you'll come face to face with some very large birds. Penguin is also the publisher of the Angry Birds books. Czech Republic-based sand artist Jakub Zimacek went absolutely berzerk (in a great way) with this massive tribute to the characters made popular by the Apple iOS game.
