In 2003, people of Kamikatsu decided and introduced the
unique concept of ‘zero waste’. Kamikatsu is the small town in Japan. They used
45 different categories to save the waste material. It is an Amazing Process of recycling which
people of Kamikatsu adopted it.
They
separate paper, bottles, cans, metal and many other things from dustbins. They
have completed 80 percent of this work and their wish is to complete it as soon
as possible. When they started this concept was not easy for everyone. It is
the major problem of waste and we should also adopt it. According to one store
owner ‘‘since
the program started, he began to buy things that only came in cardboard boxes
so that boxes can be used for packing other things’’.
