Vacation to Wilhelma Zoological botanical garden Wilhelma zoo and botanical garden was once a royal palace, now a 30-hectare (74 acre) zoo and botanical garden on the northern outskirts of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Only the European garden of zoology and botany are combined, and is home to more than 8,000 animals representing more than 1,000 different species, as well as more than 5,000 plant species.
