Amazing Pumpkin Carving Sculptures
It's that time of year again! From September 19 to 22nd, they were in Ludwigsburg, Germany to attend the biggest pumpkin festival in all of Europe, called Kürbisausstellung. While there, Ray decided to create a few Messerschmidt-inspired pieces. This time, he carved not onto traditional pumpkins, but onto Hubbard squash. A winter squash, the hubbard ranges in color from dark green to gray to blue with orange flesh underneath. They have a tear-drop shape and are often used as a replacement for pumpkins when cooking.

Spectacular Pyramid House by Juan Carlos Ramos

Spectacular Pyramid House by Juan Carlos Ramos
We've seen our fair share of unique modern home designs like the box-shaped metallic house or the abstract fortress made of concrete, but Mexican architect Juan Carlos Ramos has taken on a form less-visited for his aptly titled project Pyramid House—a conceptual pyramid-shaped home created and submitted as a proposal for a recent architecture competition. Skogafos - The Most Famous Waterfall in Iceland

Skogafos - The Most Famous Waterfall in Iceland
Skógafoss is a waterfall situated in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline. After the coastline had receded seaward (it is now at a distance of about 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) from Skógar), the former sea cliffs remained, parallel to the coast over hundreds of kilometres, creating together with some mountains a clear border between the coastal lowlands and the Highlands of Iceland.
The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 metres (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft). Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days. According to legend, the first Viking settler in the area, Þrasi Þórólfsson, buried a treasure in a cave behind the waterfall. The legend continues that locals found the chest years later, but were only able to grasp the ring on the side of the chest before it disappeared again. …

He cleverly uses one of her own eyes and another drawn eye, applied further towards her temple, to simulate a forward-facing female on the side of her actual face.

Massive Wood Bridge In Netherland

Massive Wood Bridge In Netherland Commissioned by the Province of Friesland, Oak (Onix and Achterbosch Architecture) has developed a road bridge that connects 2 districts of Sneek on either side of the A7 motorway. The bridge was designed for a municipality that wished to establish a new city marker along the motorway. Framework The Department of Public Works, the user of the bridge, stated that it wished to use more wood in its constructions. We regarded it as important to elaborate the wooden bridge in such a way that it would be both recognizable and new to Sneek. All these aspects led to the first uncovered wooden bridge in the heaviest load clas…

Artist David Breur-Weil is currently showcasing Alien as part of the Beyond Limits exhibition at Chatsworth House in the UK. This massive bronze sculpture looks as if a mysterious figure has fallen from the sky!
