SpaceX Just Launched the World’s Most Powerful Rocket and Sent a Tesla Car to Space On February 6, 2018 Elon Musk’s SpaceX successfully launched the world’s most powerful rocket, the Falcon Heavy , into space from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. In the process, he launched a Tesla Roadster into space (playing a David Bowie soundtrack on loop) on a one-way mission to Mars and successfully landed 2 of 3 Falcon 9 rockets used for the launch (seen above).

The Athabasca Sand Dunes The Athabasca Sand Dunes were formed about 8,000 to 9,000 years ago at the end of the last glacial period. As the ice sheet melted, meltwater washed enormous quantities of sand, silt and sediment from local sandstone into Lake Athabasca, whose water level was much higher then than it currently is. Then the lake receded, exposing the large sand deposits on the shores.

She records travel memories from long distance bicycling trips in small circular oil paintings. Amazing Seaweed Houses of Læsø Island The island of Læsø , which is located in Denmark. The special thing about this place is their roofs made of seaweed. The specialty of the houses is that their roofs are made of seaweed. In these roofs some of them are 300 years old. Læsø had a flourishing salt industry which is practically soaking in salt.
