These miniature landscape paintings are made by a very talented painter Dina Brodsky (previous). She records travel memories from long distance bicycling trips in small circular oil paintings.
Paintings from this series are on view until March 4th in the show Cycling Guide to Lilliput at Pontone Gallery in London. Brodsky also shares her work on Instagram, and offers prints of select paintings in her Etsy shop.

After two trips to brazil’s serra do corvo branco region, artist guy laramée — inspired by the dramatic topography of the site — has realized a series of nine carved book sculptures that meticulously illustrate the lush natural landscape. ‘onde eles moram (where they live)’ continues laramée’s work with sculpted paper, expanding on the theme to include delicate paintings of wildlife found in the area — beginning with the native urubu-rei (king of the vultures) bird, from which the mountain range is named.

NYC-based artist Khara Ledonne paints magical, miniature worlds that double as works of wearable art. Ironically, she started out by painting huge murals when she was only 16 years old and living in Washington state. She then transitioned over to sign painting when she moved to New York City in 2005. By chance, Ledonne came across a few vintage lockets while exploring a metal shop, bought them, and began to experiment.
