Azul Obscura captures a view of aircrafts that often goes unseen by ordinary passengers. Standing on the runway, the Osaka-based photographer documents the planes as they approach the airstrip and safely make their landing. Although this is a common routine, Obscura’s visual style—specifically, his choice to shoot footage at night—adds a mesmerizing feel to the entire process.

With an aging population that has been steadily moving back into the urban environment, new york-based studiohollwich kushner have conceived a an architectural solution to a sociological problem. ‘skyler’ is a sculptural tower aimed at supported a vertically layered community throughout an entire lifetime- a structure which caters to different age groups and accompanying needs, so that inhabitants can be constantly cared for and stimulated no matter what stage in life they are in. 
After a year of work, the speedX team with the help of frog design, managed to completely rebuild the internal structure of a bicycle frame to re-invent the internal cable routing. the system inside the ‘leopard’ not only improves the life of cables, reducing friction and drag, but also makes it more elegant and streamlined. 
In collaboration with artist piero golia, architect edwin chan has transformed the corner gallery of the nasher sculpture center in dallas into a gathering space that combines architecture, entertainment, and works of art. the duo originally converted a storage area off hollywood boulevard in los angeles into an environment that encouraged interaction and led to a more developed sense of community.
