World’s Largest Cylindrical Aquarium The  AquaDom  in Berlin, Germany, is a 25 metre tall cylindrical acrylic glass aquarium with built-in transparent elevator. It is located at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin-Mitte. The DomAquarée complex also contains a hotel, offices, a restaurant, and the aquarium Sea Life Centre.

Amazing Pumpkin Carving Sculptures   It's that time of year again! Master sculptor Ray Villafane and his crew at Villafane Studios have just started traveling all over the world again to create their masterful works of art...all on pumpkins! From September 19 to 22nd, they were in Ludwigsburg, Germany to attend the biggest pumpkin festival in all of Europe, called Kürbisausstellung. While there, Ray decided to create a few Messerschmidt-inspired pieces. This time, he carved not onto traditional pumpkins, but onto Hubbard squash. A winter squash, the hubbard ranges in color from dark green to gray to blue with orange flesh underneath. They have a tear-drop shape and are often used as a replacement for pumpkins when cooking.

40,000km Photographic Journey on Bicycle Originally starting in London, photographer and writer Rob Lutter set off on an ambitious global journey, hoping to travel across 40,000km .Lutter's personal project, titled  The Lifecycle , ultimately seeks to get around the globe by bicycle in an indeterminate amount of time. while doing some good along the way.  Paper Artwork Installation by Super Nature Design The artwork consists of patterned circular layers made from paper titeld as ‘the garden’ by shanghai-based multidisciplinary company  super nature design  is featured as part of the ‘paper infinite exhibition’ at réel in shanghai. the artwork consists of circular layers that gradually decrease in their diameter to host a white orchid in the middle. intricately cut out patterns provide a level of transparency in the panels and help to create a sense of density across the ‘garden’. made from 370gsm ivory paper, the die cut was created using a cnc machine, and the trimmed shape allows it to stand firmly in a circular form.

Luca Nichetto Designed Beijing Retail and Gallery Space luca nichetto  has designed the new beijing retail and gallery space for tales enterprise. visitors are guided into the interior via a non-linear concrete promenade. nichetto has  divided the exhibition space into six delineated volumes, defining each individual area  through the application of different materials and colors. the reception and business  areas are situated at the centre–covered with elm wood recycled from old houses from  hebei province–while the various showrooms of international brands (foscarini, diesel  with foscarini, ibride, petite friture, diamantini & domeniconi and seletti) are found off  of this central zone.

Anniversary of the Late Jim Henson's in National Museum of American History On the anniversary of the late Jim Henson's birthday, the National Museum of American History received a donation unlike any other. Twenty Jim Henson puppets, including some of the very first constructed of the famous characters (see below for a green Grover), will go on view in the museum later this year and early next. Some of Henson's most beloved characters from The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock had to first be prepared for the donation ceremony. The Worlds Largest Water Wheel, Laxey Laxey Wheel (also known as Lady Isabella) is a large waterwheel built in the village of Laxey in the Isle of Man. Designed by Robert Casement, it has a 72-foot-6-inch (22.1 m) diameter, is 6 feet (1.83 m) wide and revolves at approximately three revolutions per minute. It was built in 1854 to pump water from the mineshafts and named "Lady Isabella" after the wife of Lieutenant Governor Charles Hope who was the island's governor at that time. The Laxey Wheel is the largest working waterwheel in the world. The wheel was used to pump water from the Glen Mooar part of the ‘Great Laxey Mines’ industrial complex.

Skogafos - The Most Famous Waterfall in Iceland Skógafoss is a waterfall situated in the south of Iceland at the cliffs of the former coastline. After the coastline had receded seaward (it is now at a distance of about 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) from Skógar), the former sea cliffs remained, parallel to the coast over hundreds of kilometres, creating together with some mountains a clear border between the coastal lowlands and the Highlands of Iceland. The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 metres (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft). Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days. Doublefaced Portraits by Sebastian Bieniek Doublefaced is an intriguing series by Berlin-based German artist Sebastian Bieniek that features portraits of a girl with the illusion of two faces. By simply drawing on each side of his model's head with common makeup products like eyeliner and lipstick, Bieniek transforms the young woman into a eerie set of twins. He cleverly uses one of her own eyes and another drawn eye, applied further towards her temple, to simulate a forward-facing female on the side of her actual face.

Long Wall Portrait-Long Ma Jinjsxiu in Guangzhou Portuguese street artist Pantónio recently painted a massive mural called Long Ma Jinjsxiu in Guangzhou, China depicting an eye-catching goat (which happens to be the symbol of the city). Massive Wood Bridge In Netherland Commissioned by the Province of Friesland, Oak (Onix and Achterbosch Architecture) has developed a road bridge that connects 2 districts of Sneek on either side of the A7 motorway. The bridge was designed for a municipality that wished to establish a new city marker along the motorway. Framework The Department of Public Works, the user of the bridge, stated that it wished to use more wood in its constructions. We regarded it as important to elaborate the wooden bridge in such a way that it would be both recognizable and new to Sneek. The contours call to mind the traditional cheese-cover farmhouses of Friesland; the construction evokes reminiscences of the building expertise that it still abundantly present in the old city; the wooden beams reflect the shipbuilding industry, with Sneek as the water recreation city par excellence in the North Netherlands. Sculpture Fallen From the Sky by David Breur David Breuer-Weil was born in London in 1965 and continues to live and work in North London. His work frequently explores ideas of humanity, history and existence. After studying at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Clare College, Cambridge University he was awarded a bursary at Sotheby’s where he stayed until 1997 having filled roles in many of the departments. He refers to Sotheby’s as “the greatest art school in the world”, and there is little doubt that the years he spent in direct physical contact with works by the masters of the past enhanced his knowledge of both technique and his own artistic direction As you all know, we love a good illusion especially when it involves giant sculptures like this! Amazing Lamborghini Made of Paper by Taras Lesko Many of us have built a small paper-craft object once or twice in our lives, but graphic designer Taras Lesko takes it to a whole new level. The determined artist, who is no stranger to working with paper, has built everything from Gundams, wall art, and 3D busts out of the fragile material. Most recently, Lesko completed constructing a very impressive life-size Lamborghini Aventador A-E2 police interceptor. The piece, made entirely out of glue and chipboard mounted prints, measures 8 feet long and weighs approximately 25 pounds.
