Amazing Sand Sculpture Scenes by Susanne Ruseler

Amazing Sand Sculpture Scenes by Susanne Ruseler

While studying Biology in college, Susanne Ruseler discovered that her true passion was not in studying living organisms but in creating sculptures from materials such as snow, ice, and sand. After graduating, she started her own sculpture company and has been making fantastic, albeit temporary, art ever since. Her work now takes her all over the world, to places like St. Petersburg and Madrid to Tel Aviv and South Korea, where she makes intricate sand sculpture scenes at private events, festivals and competitions.

The Utrecht, Netherlands-based artist doesn't hold back when creating her works. Her sculptures are incredibly intricate, often involving the combination of many figures to create one comprehensive scene.

There are many such caves where the ice never melts throughout the year in other regions as well, such as Central Asia, continental Europe, and North America.
