The ‘lotus’ serves as an electric car charging point.Giving the appearance of an over-sized leaf emerging from the ground, the ‘lotus’ designed by italian architect giancarlo zema for luminexence in partnership with tecnopali is a modular system of eco-furniture.
Designed to function as an urban shelter, complete with seats and integrated photovoltaic panels, it also serves as an electric car charging point. a unique tubular structure, 14cm in diameter by 260cm in height, has a curving form that generates a modular and strong backbone.
