Nikos Tsoumanis Suspends Chairs Upside Down in Hanging Wairs nikos tsoumanis suspends chairs upside down in hanging wairs Giving the impression of sinking into the wall, ‘wairs’ by industrial designer nikos tsoumanis features recycled chairs cut up and hung upside down. the legs of the furniture pieces protrude upwards, creating a usable hook for hanging clothes on, while the angled seats form a place to leave personal objects such as keys and wallets.
The entire construction is made from used chairs, meaning that each model is unique. the installation sees the hangers placed in different positions, their angles vary, playfully suggesting that they have randomly been sunk into the side of the wall.

China’s Frozen Cave that Doesn’t Melt in Summer China owns an 85-meter deep pin shaped frozen wonderland, named Ningwu cave, in the mountain range of the Shanxi province. Its structure is subterranean inside the mountain that never melts even in summer. The large stalactites and the spikes of the ice extend from the ceiling to floor.
