The Forgotten Islands of The North Frisian Wadden SeaSimply off the northwest shoreline of Germany, in the North Frisian Wadden Sea, are a progression of ten to a great degree low-lying islets known as Halligen or Hallig islands. The Hallig Islands rise just a couple of feet above ocean level, so every winter when the salt marshes of the Wadden Sea gets immersed, the islands go submerged
